Seth attended the PaleyFest 2011 Presents: “Freaks & Geeks” and “Undeclared” event yesterday. Also in attendance were Judd Apatow, Jay Baruchel, Jason Segel, Amy Poehler, Busy Philips, Carlo Gallo, Monica Keena and Samm Levine to name a few. Head over to the gallery for the latest additions.

James Franco who was not in attendance had this to say:
“Sorry I can’t be there tonight. ‘Freaks and Geeks’ was such a cool show,” he said, smiling down at the audience, holding up an iPad next to his face with an illuminated photo of Anne Hathaway.

“Unfortunately, I’m busy rehearsing with Anne,” said Franco. “We are going to host the Emmys, the NAACP and the ESPYS. Anything else you’d like to add Anne?”

He paused, put the iPad in front of his face, raised his voice a few octaves and replied, “‘Love and Other Drugs’ is now out on DVD.”

Sarah Silverman appeared on The Howard Stern Show, where she talked about meeting President Barack Obama, who asked her what she was working on next. “I’m going to be naked in a movie,” she blurted out, to which Obama replied: “Oh, you’ll have to send me a copy of that.”

The movie that Silverman is talking about is Sarah Polley’s upcoming Take This Waltz, which also stars Seth Rogen and Michelle Williams. While Obama is looking forward to checking out the nude scene, Silverman claims it’s not meant to be erotic.

“It’s not sexual. It’s like a shower scene at the YMCA. So of course it’s not going to be well-lit,” she said. “I know people are excited to see [the nude scene], but they’re not excited to see it like [if it was] Megan Fox naked in a movie. They’re excited to see it [like when] Kathy Bates was naked in ‘About Schmidt.’”

Paramount Pictures has announced its film My Mother’s Curse will hit theaters on March 30, 2012. The comedy stars Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen as mother and son. The two take a cross-country road trip together on a path to some kind of discovery.

The film, scripted by Dan Fogelman, is based on his own trip across the country with his mother. You can be sure, with these two actor, loads of hilarity will ensue. (Source)

Sony has announced their plans to bring the 2011 film adaptation of The Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen to both Blu-ray Disc (2D) and Blu-ray 3D come May 3rd. Tech specs and bonus materials have not been announced aside from the fact that the Blu-ray 3D will be a “combo” pack with the Digital Copy & DVD included.

DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. and IMAX Corporation announced today that the studio’s upcoming release, Kung Fu Panda 2 will open in digital IMAX theatres in IMAX 3D. “Kung Fu Panda 2″ will be released to IMAX theatres in select international territories in conjunction with each of the territory’s release dates; the film is produced by DreamWorks Animation and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures.

“The IMAX Experience remains among the premiere viewing experiences in the world and we are thrilled that our audiences overseas will have the opportunity to watch Kung Fu Panda 2 and that movie-goers here in the U.S. will get to see Puss in Boots in IMAX 3D later this year,” said DreamWorks Animation’s Chief Executive Officer, Jeffrey Katzenberg.

“The addition of these two DreamWorks Animation films reinforce the strong offering of titles we have slated for the rest of the year,” said IMAX Chief Executive Officer Richard L. Gelfond. “Kung Fu Panda 2 and Puss in Boots are the next incarnation of blockbuster franchises and we are happy to make them available to our moviegoers around the world.”
