It’s been a little while since we provided an update on “The Green Hornet,” director Michel Gondry’s 3-D adaptation of the classic pulp hero starring Seth Rogen in the title role and Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou as his sidekick Kato. But that certainly doesn’t mean that the folks behind the film haven’t been busy! See for yourself in the all-new trailer for “Green Hornet,” which just debuted online today showing off all the comedy and action that the Rogen-starring film has to offer.
Funny People star Seth Rogen reveals that he popped the question to girlfriend Laura Miller while she was topless. Despite having ideas of a more ostentatious proposition when he met her in the bedroom hanging clothes in the closet, he had to think on his feet while she stood there in just her underwear.
The 28-year-old actor revealed yesterday on Conan O’Brien’s new TBS talk show:
“She was in our closet, changing, and she was literally only in her underpants.” He added, “I had already kind of started [to propose]. … I didn’t picture it like this, and I know she didn’t picture it like this… I figured the only appropriate thing was to place the ring on her nipple.”
Rogen also commented that he was involving himself in the planning of wedding. He continued to O’Brien, “I find myself having opinions about what our center pieces should look like and I’m like, ‘What am I doing? I don’t care about any of this stuff at all.’”
Just a reminder to everyone, Seth will be making a guest appearance on Conan O’Brien’s “Conan” television debut tomorrow Monday, November 8th. Other guests on the program include “Glee’s” Lea Michele and musician Jack White. “Conan” airs on TBS so check your local listings for channel and show times!
Some big name stars topped the Forbes list of Most Overpaid Actors of 2010. The magazine crunched some numbers on box office returns, as well as other sources of revenue, from the three most recent films of some of Hollywood’s biggest stars to come up with ten actors who might be getting a bigger pay check then they’re worth. Conan O’Brien is welcoming a roster of big names his first week back on the air.
His late-night run on TBS hosting “Conan” will kick off with Seth Rogen and musician Jack White on Monday, Nov. 8, the network has announced. Tuesday’s show will include guests Tom Hanks, “30 Rock” regular Jack McBrayer and Soundgarden. “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm stops by on Wednesday, and Thursday, Conan will greet Michael Cera and Julie Bowen.
For nearly 20 years, O’Brien was a fixture at NBC, but he left last January after just a few months as host of “The Tonight Show.” His new Los Angeles-based show will air Mondays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. Eastern. His very first guest might be decided by an online poll, which offers unlikely choices like Pope Benedict XVI. (Source)
The new trailer for the Greg Mottola-directed film “Paul” starring Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Jane Lynch, and Sigourney Weaver has been released.
In the film, Pegg and Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) play two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America’s UFO heartland. While there, they accidentally meet an alien who brings them on an insane road trip that alters their universe forever.
For the past 60 years, an alien named Paul (voiced by Rogen) has been hanging out at a top-secret military base. For reasons unknown, the space-traveling smart ass decides to escape the compound and hop on the first vehicle out of town — a rented RV containing Earthlings Graeme Willy (Pegg) and Clive Collings (Frost).
Chased by federal agents and the fanatical father of a young woman that they accidentally kidnap, Graeme and Clive hatch a fumbling escape plan to return Paul to his mother ship. And as two nerds struggle to help, one little green man might just take his fellow outcasts from misfits to intergalactic heroes.
Listed on www.imdb.com is a project titled, “Megalomania” which is said to feature the voices of Seth Rogen, Steve Buscemi and Juliette Lewis – well I have a small amount of information regarding this potential project. In terms of the cast, nothing has been confirmed nor does the movie have an official release date yet.
“Megalomania” will be directed by Michel Gondry and his son Paul Gondry with an expectant 2011 release. Below is a brief synopsis fans can expect story-wise.
A visionary journey into a punk-rock future where three rebellious teenagers rise up against their government and discover that ruling the world is not as easy as it seems, based on a universe created by Michel Gondry’s son Paul.
