The catty back-and-forth between Seth Rogen and Entourage executive producer Doug Ellin is more interesting than anything that has happened on the show in a very long time. In an interview with TV Guide, Ellin claims that he harbors no ill will toward the actor, who told GQ in 2008 that Entourage wasn’t funny. In fact, Ellin says he originally considered Rogen for the part of Turtle.
As for the Turtle quip in a 2009 episode that Rogen’s “ugliness is oddly fascinating” (which resulted in Rogen calling Ellin a “moron” and “asshole”), Ellin said that, despite his appreciation for the actor, he couldn’t let Rogen completely off the hook for his GQ comment: “If he’s going to say the show sucks, I’m going to say he’s ugly,” Ellin explained. Ellin’s contention he has no problem with Rogen is also a bit hard to take considering he has now forever linked the actor to a character Rogen went out of his way to bash in the episode of The Simpsons he wrote. Below is Seth’s (web cam) appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. As previously mentioned, Jimmy’s show had lost power and was unable to air “properly” on TV. Holding his computer in one hand, his guests holding their own microphones, Kimmel interviewed Seth Rogen, Wipeout‘s John Henson, and had music guest Dierks Bentley perform an acoustic tune. Rogen was up for the challenge: |

Jimmy Kimmel’s celebrity guests Seth Rogen, John Henson and Dierks Bentley were left in the dark during a taping of his talk show on Monday – after a black out hit the TV studio. The stars were all lined up to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but just an hour before the shoot was scheduled to begin, a power failure struck the Los Angeles building where the show is taped. But resourceful host Kimmel refused to let the black out stop production, and used the webcam on his laptop computer to record the entire program, according to the show’s publicist Chelsea Hettrick. Hettrick admits the celebrity guests were “going with what happened”, with Bentley changing his planned performance to play an acoustic set with his band. (Source) |

As you can see, Seth Rogen Online has a new layout. I really loved the new photoshoot pictures of Seth while he was promoting “Monsters vs. Aliens and wanted to use them in a new layout. I am still working out some coding kinks and errors so please don’t be alarmed if you come across pages that look funny or are not working properly. Hopefully everyone likes the new layout as I am pleased with how it turned out! |

It may be a big roll of the dice for Sony, but in an effort to save face, the studio might just have to do that. The Green Hornet, is now set to open in IMAX theaters on January 14, 2011, the same day it rolls out in 2-D and 3-D format theaters across the country. The most recent move – from December to January, a big difference in terms of the studio totem pole – was reportedly to allow for the 3-D conversion, a process that shouldn’t really take the better part of a year. And we said almost a year ago when the film was pushed from summer to December that Sony would eventually shove it into 2011 and bury it. But IMAX is not burying it, although if the film’s a wreck, it could be burying Sony’s first quarter next year. (Source) |
