The Jamie Travis directed film, For a Good Time, Call … has officially begun filming! The movie stars Seth alongside Justin Long, Ari Graynor and Seth’s wife Lauren Miller. Written by Lauren Miller and Katie Anne Naylon, fans can expect this film to hit theatres in late 2012.

Barbra Streisand is not the first person — or, for that matter, the 87th person — one normally thinks of as a potential co-star for Seth Rogen, the guy who toked up with James Franco in The Pineapple Express and stars opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the upcoming 50/50. But Rogen and Streisand have indeed worked together in a road trip buddy comedy called My Mother’s Curse, which is in post-production and due out next year. While chatting with Rogen and his friend and screenwriter Will Reiser for a longer piece about “50/50,” which will be online soon and in The Post’s Sunday Style section this weekend, he talked about the film and how — as random as it might sound — he converted Streisand into a Coming to America fan.

Canadian comedy star Seth Rogen plans to team up with some of his old pals next year as he co-directs a feature film he created with his longtime writing partner, Evan Goldberg. The Vancouver native says The Apocalypse — based on a short film he and Goldberg made years ago called Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse — has a “substantial” cast that includes former collaborators Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill and James Franco.
